There is no challenge  today , so just spend some time working on finishing up this week's learning plan as best you can. I apologize in advance for the lengthy email, but there is some important information about how things will go moving forward that I want to communicate. In our morning staff meeting  yesterday  we talked about some feedback that is coming from parents in our school and around our district, so I will be making a few changes on how I deliver things each week: -I will continue to send out the  Monday  Morning email to parents and students (I will check in once later in the week by email as well) -I will only send the daily emails to the  student’s Zimbra  emails (unless parents request the email to be sent to them still) -I will be stopping the use of my blog ...

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today's challenge was inspired by my daily walk where I've been seeing some painted rocks along the pathway. I thought it would be a great idea for you to show some community spirit by creating some art that delivers a positive message for those who see it. What you choose to create is up to you. It could be rocks, posters, anything really, as long as people in your community can see it, it delivers that positive message, oh yea, and it takes some 'artistic ability' to create! You can watch the daily video for more information, as well as to see what I created for my community! Make sure to share what you've created with me as I'd love to see what you come up with. You can find an assignment created in Google Classroom in the Physical Education section (we don't have an art one...), or you can email it to me. Happy Monday everybody! Here is the second Weekly Learning Plan. There are a few assignments continued from last week (Prodigy Math could be another one, I will add to it as well, but I have heard from a few people it is slow, though I would still recommend playing most days when you can). The daily journal is something they can keep working on, as well as their daily reading that we will build on into an independent novel study. This is just a guideline as to where you could be at, but I do understand the different scenarios people are in. No assignment or challenge today (though there is a bit of a mini-challenge in this mornings video). I guess because it is Fun Friday , I could challenge you to go out (or stay in) and do something you enjoy! (just make sure to mind social distancing).
