Daily Challenge - Tuesday, March 31 2020: Connecting With Your Classmates

Hey everybody, I hope you were productive yesterday, shaking off the rust after a couple weeks. You can find today's daily challenge here . And you can find the video for the challenge here . REMEMBER : This is a challenge, so try to complete it as best you can. If you only connect with one new person on any given day, tell me about that one person. If you miss a day, no big deal, maybe try to connect with an extra person or two the other days, and then tell me about 4 or 5 people you connected with.

Weekly Learning Plan #1 (March 30 - April 3)

Hey everybody, hope you've had a good break! I also hope you're ready to get back to some learning!!! Find this weeks Weekly Learning Plan   here . You can also find the Monday Morning Video   here . Within the Weekly Learning Plan  you will find information for the upcoming week, as well as all the assignments that are planned. Within each assignment you will find an introduction, the What You Need To Do section (which just outlines what needs to be done), as well as the Submitting Your Work  section (which just outlines how to submit the work). With submitting the work, there are lots of ways to do! I make some suggestions, but if there is another way you think you could do it, by all means just ask me. With this, just be sure that what you submit completes the activity as laid out in the assignment. It is my hope to also add some challenges or assignments each day, so check email, Google Classroom, this blog, or my new website  for information through...

Daily Routine - Tai Chi

Image
While reading Touching Spirit Bear, the main character had a morning routine each day that he was on the island. I asked the class if we would be interested in doing a mindful activity like Cole did each morning, and most students answered yes. We started doing Tai Chi in the mornings as a mindful practice, and most students have started to take to it really well, and have noticed a difference in how it helps them during the day. We have been using 5 Day Fit Chi  to help guide us through our routine.
