As a class we went to the Raft River Salmon Run. We learned about traditional fishing techniques, salmon biology, recycling and it's effect on the environment, forestry, and the watershed. Please find some information on a few web-based tools that we will be utilizing in our classroom this year. Google Classroom Students can access our Google Classroom page anywhere through their GEDU account Only students can access the classroom page, so parents/guardians will not have direct access to the page (they can only see it through their students account) There is a classroom page for 8 subjects, plus one for any notices that go out They can see assignment criteria and print off assignment pages It is a great place to check for what we did on days that they have missed (each student also has a mailbox in the classroom where they can check for any missed assignments when they return) Students can check the due dates for assignments Students can check their “To Do” list to see what assignments are turned in or incomplete Students can check grades and feedback on assignments Students can communicate with their teacher outside of class time S...

We have been picked to be the Adopt A School with Chapters Book Store from Sept 14th-Oct 6th. Any donations made online or in-store will be given to us for the library. Barriere Outdoor Club will be hosting the 2nd Annual Amazing Race on Saturday October 5th starting at 9:00 am. The race will take place at the Barriere Forks Trails again this year. Please see the notice that went home for more information.

Students received 4 forms today that need to be returned as soon as possible. Along with these forms, students also received a student fees notice.
