Moccasin Trek

We were fortunate enough to have Moccasin Trek come in yesterday to teach us about various aspects of First Nations culture from around North America. There were stations on Coast Salish Storytelling, Pow Wow Dancing, and other forms of storytelling.

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today's challenge was inspired by my daily walk where I've been seeing some painted rocks along the pathway. I thought it would be a great idea for you to show some community spirit by creating some art that delivers a positive message for those who see it. What you choose to create is up to you. It could be rocks, posters, anything really, as long as people in your community can see it, it delivers that positive message, oh yea, and it takes some 'artistic ability' to create! You can find an assignment created in Google Classroom in the Physical Education section (we don't have an art one...), or you can email it to me.
