Hide Scraping
Today Mrs Eustache was teaching our class about First Nations hide scraping techniques, and had a deer hide here to give our students a chance to try it out!
Daily Challenge - Wednesday, April 8 2020 (Community Art)
Happy Wednesday everyone! Today's challenge was inspired by my daily walk where I've been seeing some painted rocks along the pathway. I thought it would be a great idea for you to show some community spirit by creating some art that delivers a positive message for those who see it. What you choose to create is up to you. It could be rocks, posters, anything really, as long as people in your community can see it, it delivers that positive message, oh yea, and it takes some 'artistic ability' to create! You can watch the daily video for more information, as well as to see what I created for my community! Make sure to share what you've created with me as I'd love to see what you come up with. You can find an assignment created in Google Classroom in the Physical Education section (we don't have an art one...), or you can email it to me. Who knows, maybe you'll start something that your entire neighbourhood jumps on board with and joins in? ...
