Today was Drop Everything and Read day at our school. After recess our entire school met in the gym to enjoy a good book with a beach theme. I read a book about my favorite artist - Ted Harrison. Ask you student about what book they read during DEAR!

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today's challenge was inspired by my daily walk where I've been seeing some painted rocks along the pathway. I thought it would be a great idea for you to show some community spirit by creating some art that delivers a positive message for those who see it. What you choose to create is up to you. It could be rocks, posters, anything really, as long as people in your community can see it, it delivers that positive message, oh yea, and it takes some 'artistic ability' to create!
